When Your Mind Won’t Turn Off

Do you ever feel like your mind won’t slow down — replaying conversations, anticipating worst-case scenarios, or bracing for something to go wrong?

Anxiety can make everyday life feel exhausting. Even when things look “fine” on the outside, internally you may feel tense, overstimulated, or constantly on edge. Therapy offers more than temporary coping — it helps you understand the root of your anxiety, shift long-standing patterns, and create a deeper sense of calm that carries into your relationships, work, and daily routines.

Relief is possible. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Virtual Anxiety Counseling Across Florida

Telehealth anxiety therapy for panic, worry, and overthinking, available by secure video anywhere in the state of Florida.

Does online therapy work as well for anxiety as meeting in person?

Anxiety counseling works well over secure video, and for many people it works better. Talking from your own home lowers the barrier that keeps anxious people from booking at all. There is no waiting room, no traffic, and no rehearsing the drive over. Virtual anxiety counseling is available anywhere in Florida, so you can start where you already feel safest.

What if my anxiety is what's stopping me from making the call?

That is one of the most common reasons people wait, and you have options that do not involve talking to anyone first. You can email or use the Book Now button on the site instead of calling. The first session is mostly getting to know each other, gathering background, and setting goals — no pressure to explain everything perfectly.

How do I know if it's regular stress or actual anxiety?

The dividing line is usually whether it stops when the stressful thing does. Stress fades when the deadline passes; anxiety keeps running — losing sleep, bracing for bad news, avoiding things you used to do. If worry is shaping your decisions and shrinking your life, that is worth bringing into counseling. You do not need a diagnosis to book an appointment.

Is what I say in session actually private?

Yes. Everything you share is confidential, with one exception — when there is a threat of harm to yourself or someone else. That includes what you say about work, family, faith, and anything you have never told anyone. Sessions are held over secure video, so choose a private room and headphones if others are home.

Does insurance cover anxiety counseling in Florida?

Insurance is accepted for individual anxiety counseling through United Healthcare, Florida Blue (BCBS), Cigna, Aetna, Optum, Oxford, and Oscar. If you prefer not to use insurance, self-pay is $115 per individual session. Insurance is not accepted for couples or family sessions, which are $135 and self-pay. Check your own plan for deductible and copay details.

Can therapy help with panic attacks specifically?

Yes — panic attacks are one of the most common reasons people start anxiety counseling. Sessions focus on understanding what sets them off, what your body is doing during one, and what actually helps in the moment versus what makes it worse. Doing this by telehealth means you are practicing in the same environment where panic usually shows up.
